Essential Oils + Natural Products to Make You Look + Feel Better

Essential Oils + Natural Products to Make You Look + Feel Better

Ever since I found out I have eczema I've cut out food, lotions, body washes....

A LT OF STUFF.

It's tough to go from using and eating anything you want to watching what you eat, what you wash your clothes with, etc. but I'm not complaining because there's a fix for everything!

So first here's a list of natural products and essential oils that I like to keep handy:

Olive Oil

Coconut Oil

Pure Shea Butter

Jojoba Oil

Jamaican Black Castor Oil

Rosemary Oil

Sage Oil

Lavender Oil

Tea Tree Oil

Rosehip Seed Oil

Peppermint Oil

Witch Hazel

Oatmeal Soap

Black Soap

Vitamin E Oil

I have a little Ninja Chopper/Mixer that I only use for my natural products.

For my hair I blend the following and place in a mason jar:

Olive oil

Jojoba Oil

Jamaican Black Castor Oil

Pure Shea Butter

Peppermint Oil

Shea Butter

For my face I wash with Black Soap, follow up with Witch Hazel on a cotton ball and then apply Rosehip Seed Oil as a moisturizer.

For my body, I just switched from Black Soap to an Oatmeal Bar.

In my Ninja Chopper/Mixer I blend the following ingredients together for a body moisturizer and then place in a mason jar:

Coconut Oil

Pure Shea Butter

Lavender Oil

Tea Tree Oil

Vitamin E Oil

For my Eczema breakouts, I combine the following in a little empty roll-on bottle and when I feel like itching, I roll it on to the spots that are uncomfortable:

Lavender Oil

Tea Tree Oil

Vitamin E Oil

Lastly, for my diffusers I love using Rosemary Oil and Sage Oil.  They smell amazing.

The best thing about using all of these natural products is that I feel better and I smell soooooooo good.

Of course there are other essential oils that I haven't explored yet but I'm looking forward to trying out oils you can ingest when the weather starts to get a bit cooler. I run a few races in the winter so I want to prevent myself from getting sick as much as I can.

Pretty soon I'll write about the benefits of changing your "diet" for your blood type. I want to see if it's a myth or not. A lady at the health food store said this could help out with my eczema issues. So far I saw that I shouldn't eat shellfish, wheat, and corn.....no cornbread during the holidays?

Omg.

Happy Sunday,

- Keriki
