Lately I've been experiencing this retroactive understanding of people's sentiments and actions I had a hard time comprehending in some past heated conversation or situation and made a big deal about not comprehending.
I think it's a form of karma.
I'm getting clearer to me as the years go by that it's incumbent upon us all to try hard to kindly understand where each other is coming from, even if we don't immediately agree.
Kindly understanding becomes especially important because if we're blessed to live long enough, we end up experiencing and feeling some of the same feelings others do. And then that irony feels like instant karma.
And when you think, feel or so something, do you EVER believe your sentiments are from nowhere and based in nothing. Probably not.
So, when others think, feel or act differently than we do, news flash: those feelings & actions are coming from somewhere and based in something too. They're not completely crazy or basic.
You just may not be in the particular place in your life where you get it...yet or anymore.
So let's vow to be more conscious of how we treat our brothers and sisters, especially when we disagree.
light to you,
