Sage Society + Denzel Washington
Denzel Washington is an icon and one can learn a lot from him every time that he speaks. Even when you watch him act (I mean really watch him while he is acting) you will notice that he is unique. His style of acting is so intriguing and what I have come to learn from him is that in life, when you do something, do it to the best of your ability. Do it so well that no man or woman can do it better than you. I am not saying that Denzel is perfect but he is definitely a force to be reckoned with.
Mr. Washington is an actor, director and producer. He is an Academy, Golden Globe, and Tony Award winner. To this day I will watch Malcolm X, Remember the Titans, Training day and pretty much any movie that he is involved in, over and over and over again.
Denzel Washington is a husband, father, son, and friend. I think that he learned how to be great at his craft by being learning how to be in great relationships with family first. Family is who guides and you and helps build confidence and cheers you on and makes sure that you know when you messed up. Building great relationships can help you perfect your craft.
Denzel Washington is a philanthropist and an activist willing to give back to those in need and stand up for what he believes in. There is a lot that you can learn from him and unless we are all living under a rock, it is hard to not notice what he is doing or saying.
He is a father, husband, friend, son, teacher, mentor, role model, philanthropist and now a member of our Sage Society.
Thank you Mr. Washington for inspiring us to be our best and for giving us wisdom at all times.
