Letting Go

Why is it so hard for us to let go sometimes? When I was a little younger I used to be unable to forgive and forget.  I'm still a work in progress. Most days I'm able to forgive and forget but the rest of the days I can only bring myself to forgive and let go COMPLETELY.

 

My mantra this year has been “What is done is done. If it is in the past then let it go. Do not infuriate yourself over something which you have no control over.” I have really tried to live by this day in and day out.

 

Holding on to anger and pain and negative thoughts about people and situations can really eat you up inside.

 

Find ways to look at the positive outcome of each negative situation or of each situation that is not going your way.

 

Find ways to take your mind away from negative things and take care of your mind, body, and heart everyday. There are several reasons that I started running but in real life, lol, I started running because I needed peace of mind about things and people who I was allowing to bring turmoil into my life. Some people and some situations like to stir the pot but the pot cannot be stirred if you don't allow it to be stirred.

 

Going into this new season, literally the end of summer, :-( try to let go. Let go of negative people, let go of negative situations, let go of everything that you have built up inside and start making a change for YOU and those that you love and hold close to your heart.

 

Let go and remember what's done is done. You can't change it because it's already happened. Move on and stay positive. Find the good in the bad and just keep moving forward. I promise you'll feel so much better.

 

Let go.
