9th Ave Street Food
Jerk chicken cheesesteak on cocoa bread.
Bet you’ve never tasted Atlanta like this.
9th Avenue Street Food houses an eclectic food feast. Established by 3 besties less than a year ago, this gem located on Atlanta’s noteworthy Ponce de Leon Ave presents thee with a rotating menu street food inspired by flavors from around the world.
Trust me when I tell your taste buds will be dancing like your uncle does when “Before I Let Go” comes on at the family BBQ.
Also trust me and take this advice: bring a friend. That way you can try various menu items without passing out before you make it back to the car, because it’s gonna be hard to choose just one meal.
Trust me on that, too.
When I finished my main meal (½ jerk philly with yam chips and ½ honey Dijon marinated salmon nuggets with a side of super fresh kale-apple salad and sweet corn nuggets) and bit into the bananas foster poppers, I completely forgot Krispy Kreme was right across the street. COMPLETELY.
Not only is the food delicious, but the vibes are everything. The mural that graces the plot where the stationary food truck-style restaurant sits is awe-inspiring. Rolling up to the place and hearing M.I.A. blaring out onto the Atlanta streets topped off my experience.
If you somehow haven’t already made it to your car to try this place out or if you're sans a personal mode of transportation, then just know Postmates, UberEats and Amazone PrimeNow ALL deliver this stuff. So, yea…I’ll wait.
