Muss and Turner's
I love the South and I may be bias but I really love the food in the South. I mean REALLY love the food in the South and when it comes to brunch, we brunch so hard.
A group of friends and I live in the same suburb of Atlanta and we wanted to do a White Elephant Gift Exchange (love these events) and have brunch somewhere in our neighborhood at the same time. We decided on Muss and Turner's in Smyrna, GA and I am so glad we did.
The food smells absolutely amazing when you walk into the restaurant. Imagine both a very quaint but very elegant atmosphere; it sort of reminded me of a few restaurants I've been to in the Carolinas; nice and Southern.
We sat at a high top table right in front of the pastry display...
I promise I did not over indulge. I promise.
But I did have some...
We ordered a myriad of items and like I said the food smelled so good but just to give you a preview, here are a few of the menu items that I absolutely loved:
Gum Creek Farm’s Berkshire pork shoulder, French fries, cotija, chimichurri, fried egg
Fried Springer Mountain chicken breast, buttermilk biscuits, butcher’s gravy
Spiced apple compote, toasted pecans, powdered sugar, maple syrup
I cannot wait to go back to Muss and Turner's for the Mimosas, the food, the Mimosas, the food, and the Mimosas.....and the food!
Thank you Muss and Turner's for being more than a restaurant. Thank you for being an ultimate foodie destination.
